This weekend in Cornwall is the 15th Pilot Cutter Review from Classic Sailing, starting with the Fowey to St Mawes passage race on Friday. An incredible spectacle for anyone ashore or afloat, the event attracts pilot cutters old and new. There’s even a rumour the sun might make an appearance! Here’s where you can see them and when:
Friday 28th May
Passage race from Fowey to St Mawes. 1000 start on the Royal Fowey Yacht Club start line.
Saturday 29th May
Races at 1000 and 1600. Watch the starts from St Mawes Castle.
Sunday 30th May
Race at 1300 from St Mawes Castle. Depending on conditions, if only one race happens on Saturday, there may be another earlier race on Sunday at 0930.
Monday 31st May
Passage to Charlestown, near St Austell.
